These are called Pinchos, basically they are shishkabobs of chicken with special BBQ sauce. They were very good!
This was our Sunday activity. We walked up and down the beach collecting sea-shells. In the background you have Johnny, a theme in our pictures lol and in the way background you can see the moon coming up.

This was the island of Culebra. Absolutely beautiful and unreal. You always see pictures of these kinds of beaches and I actually got to go to one. The water was so calm and warm, it was the best day of the trip, but probably because there was actually sun!!!! The only evenful thing that happened here was that fish bit me! Not very hard but still......

A picture to prove we were actually there :)

We rented snorkling gear and this is me trying to get out of the water with the flippers on, it was a lot harder than you would think! The video is more entertaining but I dont' know how to get video from our camera onto our computer.....i will work on it though.

And last but not least, here is our final picture in Puerto Rico, sleeping in the airport waiting for our plane to leave. We almost didn't make it home because we were standby and not very high priority. Here is a shout out to Trisha's mom who flew on a red-eye to New york, met us there, and turned around and flew home with us. Because she was with us, our priority got higher and we all made it on the full flight.

The trip was awesome, although life since we got back hasn't been so stellar. We got home on Tuesday night and I went back to work for the next 3 days, swamped because the semester had just ended before we left and i had 2 weeks worth of homework to grade for my classes. Then on Saturday, Thomas's pancreas started to hurt and lo and behold he just spent the last week in the hosptial. Because I had just returned from a week long absence, I didn't dare request a sub again. Sunday night was his first night in the hospital and they are always the worst. I think we both averaged 2.5 hours of sleep that night. I had to get up (although i wasn't really asleep) and go in to work the next morning and I was quite the zombie. Thankfully, his mom and dad took the next two nights with him so i could go home and get some sleep. My schedule for the last week was crazy, what with running between work, hospital, home to sleep, work, hospital, home to sleep and so on, but he is home now and things are returning to normal. We are thankful for the power of prayer and blessings. It seems that this attack was just like all of the rest, which is a good thing if he has to have attacks at all. Anyway, so long for now and here is to an uneventful next couple of weeks, hopefully.
