We spent New Year's Eve with my family and just about everyone was there. I know this picture looks bad, but we thought it was funny with Thomas's martinelli apple cider bottle in the background. :)
We spent almost the entire night playing Just Dance 2. I quite enjoyed watching everyone try to dance. :) He looks like he is in pain, but he is just concentrating really hard! ha ha ha ha ha.
In december, we went to the David Archuleta and MOTAB Christmas concert. It was very fun to watch him perform again, but it was an absolute madhouse! 10 minutes before it was supposed to start, there were still at least 1000 people waiting in lines outside in the FREEZING cold. I felt so bad for them, but also very grateful for my mom who got there hours early to make sure we got our seats. This is a picture of the set after the performance and it is fuzzy because my camera wouldn't work with the lighting.
This is Thomas pulling and "Elf" stunt that made the conference center workers really nervous ha ha ha ha! They were concerned he would get caught or stuck or fall or something :)
Here we are christmas eve with my side of the family. Yea for family!
In January, my cousin Kevin acquired some free lift tickets to Park City Ski Resort. Naturally it would have been a crime to let them go to waste, so Devin and I took two tickets and went skiing for the first time in years! I had forgotten how wonderful it is to go into the mountains in the winter. The snow was a bit icy, but it was great to get out!
Speaking of winter fun, Thomas has been snowmobiling quite a few times this winter and has loved every minute of it! How cool does he look!?
Thomas has also spent a great deal of time playing church b-ball and his team is really good! Once again, my camera didn't agree with the lighting of the gym, which meant i had to take the flash off, which meant the focus was horrible. Whaddyathink? Future Jazz player? :)
In Feb. my brother Cody got his mission call to Quezon, Phillipines speaking Tagolag (sp?)!!!!!! Crazy stuff!
Next came my cousin's wedding in St. George. It was a beautiful weekend filled with fun, family and friends! This picture is one of my favorites. Thomas got a phone call while we were waiting to take pictures. Well that inspired all the other boys to "get phone calls too". They were totally mocking Thomas and he was completely oblivious! In fact, he didn't know until 2 days later when we were looking at the pictures that this had even happened! ha ha ha ha. If you look closely, you will see my brother Devin talking on his wallet, and my cousin in the right hand corner talking to his camera. :)
We then proceeded to entertain ourselves with the lifesize cut-out of the brother of the groom who is currently on his mission. We decided jumpin poses would look the coolest :) Thomas is in the way back with his hands in the air and my brother Cody is pulling a "Newsies" move, even the shoes go with the theme!
We girls wanted in on the fun, but we couldn't have the cut-out because he can't be alone with girls (he he he). My timing was a little slow, so my legs aren't as high as they actually got, but still tons of fun!
For Valentines day, Thomas bought me these beautiful flowers, cooked a steak dinner and then nursed me back to health. I was pretty sick, on the verge of the flu I think, so I wasn't very much fun to be around. He was a great sport about it though! Thanks babe!
